Hey there, everyone! I’ve been thinking lately about how life has a strange way of balancing things out. Even though I was feeling a little down about having to delay the plushie Kickstarter for a while, I’m thrilled to share that our other projects are going incredibly smoothly! The work we’re doing on our animation pipeline, in particular, is making some really exciting progress.

You all know that Donna and I are complete rookies when it comes to animation. We’ve tried a few times to add more animation to our shorts, but our skills and production pipeline just weren’t strong enough to pull it off well. Now, though, things are starting to click. Taking a few things off our plate has made a huge difference, and having one of our new artists—who has a ton of experience with the anime animation pipeline—on board has been a game-changer.

We’re still a long way from my ultimate goal, but we’re making steady, meaningful progress. It’s funny—sometimes what you need to move forward is to take a step back. Life works in mysterious ways, huh? HAHA.
