I wanted to share a quick update with you all. Unfortunately, we didn’t get into any conventions for February or March. It’s frustrating because I love meeting y’all in person! Conventions are also a really important part of our income, so this was a tough pill to swallow. It’s also a humbling reminder that there’s always someone out there who’s better. But I’m determined to keep improving. Maybe this was a sign that we were relying on cons too much. So while we may not be at many cons for the next few months, I’m focusing my efforts on other areas, like growing our online store. You can now grab a signed copy of our book, some awesome pins, and a few extra production-related items. Donna and I have been hard at work with logistics to make this happen! Plus, I’m working hard behind the scenes to bring actual animation to Part-Time Dragons—something I’ve always dreamed of! Growth isn’t always linear. Sometimes you have to trust the process. I’m staying focused and determined, and I’m so grateful to have your support along the way. None of this would be possible without you. Thank you for believing in me! -Spike |
